Dear Group Members:We are in the midst of a stormy season. Often times reinforced plastic tarps, commonly called “Blue Roofs,” provide temporary protection for the roofs of homes and other buildings damaged during severe weather such as a hurricane or tornado. When employees access roofs to install these tarps, they are at risk of falls, electrocutions and other hazards. OSHA has published fact sheets with recommendations on how to keep your employees safe. We have attached them for your review. Please share with your employees. If you need any assistance, or have any questions, please contact your local LSM Safety Rep or contact the LSM Safety Office.212-709-8899 Lsmsafetydepartment@lovellsafety.com
